Serimonia (2012/2018) for amplified string quartet. 10 minutes.
First performance: Salurinn, Kópavogi, Siggi String Quartet, February 9, 2014.
The title Serimonia (ceremony) refers to fairly rigid rules and repetitions that apply to the piece. The piece is played very softly, but amplified to allow extra noises created by bow and instruments to be heard. Serimonia was premiered by the string quartet Siggi in 2014 and released by Sono luminus in 2019.
