Fyrirmynd, eftirmynd (Model, Replica) was composed for mother and daughter duo Svava Bernharðsdóttir (viola) and Rannveig Marta Sarc (violin). It was commissioned by Skálholt Summer Concerts in 2021. That year the festival had the theme Generations. The viola plays a larger role in the first third of the piece and in the last third the roles are reversed. The middle section is more homophonic with equal roles. 

First performance: July 11, 2021, Dúó Freyja (Rannveig Marta Sarc and Svava Bernharðsdóttir) in Skálholt Church.
